Pod Green Room (“the Service”) is operated by BNED AI LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built this Service for solo podcasters, and we treat the contacts you upload as some of the most sensitive data we hold.

1. What we collect

Account information.Your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you subscribe, billing is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

Your podcast profile. Show details you provide or that we read from your public RSS feed, used to tailor guest and sponsor recommendations.

The contacts you upload. When you upload a LinkedIn export or CSV, we process the names, titles, companies, and contact details in that file to rank potential guests. This is your data; you upload it, and you can delete it.

Usage data. Basic logs and analytics about how the Service is used, so we can keep it running and improve it.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to operate the Service: to rank guests from your network, generate episode concepts and warm invites, match sponsors, produce show valuations and media kits, and send you transactional email about your account.

We do not sell your data. We do not sell or rent your contacts, your network, or any personal information to anyone.

3. Contacts you upload

The contacts in your uploads are used solely to generate recommendations for your account. They are not shared with other users, not added to a shared directory, and not used to market to the people in your network.

Portions of contact data (such as a name, title, and company) may be sent to our AI and web-search providers to score guest fit. These providers process the data to return a result and do not retain it to train their models. You can delete your uploaded contacts at any time from your account settings, or by emailing us; deletion is permanent.

4. Service providers we share with

We use a small set of trusted providers to run the Service, each handling only the data needed for its job:

Stripe— payments and subscription billing.
AI and web-search providers— generating guest scores, episode concepts, and sponsor matches.
Resend— sending account and reminder email.
Our hosting and database providers— running the application and storing your data securely.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove your contacts and reports promptly, and delete remaining personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored only as hashes, and access to production data is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and will notify you if a breach materially affects you.

7. Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA, including the right to object to certain processing — we honor those requests.

8. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to understand basic, aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9. Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
